This article provides a comprehensive overview of the user interface and permissions available to each role within the HPV Cervical Cancer Screening Programme. The platform uses Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) to ensure that users only have access to the tools, data, and functionalities necessary for their specific responsibilities.

RBAC is a security and access management framework that assigns permissions to users based on their assigned role within the system. This approach helps to protect sensitive health information, reduce the risk of data breaches, and streamline user experience by presenting only relevant features.

Each role is associated with a predefined set of access rights. These rights govern which screens users can view, what data they can interact with, and which actions they are permitted to perform. The Roles that have been created for the Cervical Cancer Screening Programme are:

  • CCS Admin
  • CCS Clinician
  • CCS Super Admin
  • Patient
  • Signumology Admin

In the section below, we outline the specific screens and functions accessible to each role. This breakdown helps ensure clarity and consistency across the programme, supports compliance with data governance standards, and enhances overall operational efficiency.

Assigning additional modules or permissions

If a user requires access to additional modules that are not currently available to their role, please contact your CCS Super Admin. Super Admins can manage user permissions directly within the Roles section of the Administration panel, including assigning roles and enabling access to specific modules.

If you are unsure who your CCS Super Admin is or do not have one assigned, please raise a support ticket via the FreshDesk Portal, and our support team will be happy to assist you.
